Glodok

The word  Glodok, were drawn from the Sundanese word "Golodog" which means "the entrance to a house". Glodok has been home to Chinese community since 1740 and dubbed as the largest Chinatown in Indonesia and even one of the largest one in the world.

Strolling through Glodok guarantee visitors unique sceneries. Everything seems to fall to one place; row of shop houses, traffic jam, street stalls, wet market, street side parking, bajaj/ojek/becak (local transports) spots, hard working labors, and shopper crowd. They are the key ingredients to shape Glodok as it is today.
